JsonCpp
A C++ library for interacting with JSON
JSON is a lightweight data-interchange format. It can represent numbers, strings, ordered sequences of values, and collections of name/value pairs. JsonCpp is a C++ library that allows manipulating JSON values, including serialization and deserialization to and from strings. It can also preserve existing comment in unserialization/serialization steps, making it a convenient format to store user input files. The branch 00.11.zis a new branch, its major version number 00 is to show that it is different from 0.y.z and 1.y.z, the main purpose of this branch is to make a balance between the other two branches. Thus, users can use some new features in this new branch that introduced in 1.y.z, but can hardly applied into 0.y.z. You can download and install JsonCpp using the vcpkg dependency manager. The JsonCpp port in vcpkg is kept up to date by Microsoft team members and community contributors. -

NIST is developing the Open Security Controls Assessment Language (OSCAL), a set of hierarchical, XML-, JSON-, and YAML-based formats that provide a standardized representation of information pertaining to the publication, implementation, and assessment of security controls. OSCAL is being developed through a collaborative approach with the public. Public contributions to this project are welcome. With this effort, we are stressing the agile development of a set of minimal formats that are generic enough to capture the breadth of data in scope (controls specifications), while also capable of ad-hoc tuning and extension to support peculiarities of both (industry or sector) standards and new control types. The OSCAL website provides an overview of the OSCAL project, including an XML and JSON schema reference, examples, and other resources. -

Pandoc filter for cross-references
pandoc-crossref is a pandoc filter for numbering figures, equations, tables and cross-references to them. The input file (like demo.md) can be converted into HTML, LaTeX, PDF, Markdown or other formats. Optionally, you can use cleveref for LaTeX/PDF output, e.g. cleveref PDF, cleveref LaTeX, and listings package, e.g. listings PDF, listings LaTeX. This package tries to use LaTeX labels and references if output type is LaTeX. It also tries to supplement rudimentary LaTeX configuration that should mimic metadata configuration by setting header-includes variable. The easiest option to get pandoc-crossref on Windows, macOS, or Linux, is to download pre-built executables available at the releases page. Bear in mind that those are a product of automated build scripts, and as such, provided as-is, with zero guarantees. Feel free to open issues if those don't work though, I'll try to do what I can. -

pdfcpu is a PDF processing library written in Go supporting encryption. It provides both an API and a CLI. Supported are all versions up to PDF 1.7 (ISO-32000). This is an effort to build a comprehensive PDF processing library from the ground up written in Go. Over time pdfcpu aims to support the standard range of PDF processing features and also any interesting use cases that may present themselves along the way. The main focus lies on strong support for batch processing and scripting via a rich command line. At the same time pdfcpu wants to make it easy to integrate PDF processing into your Go-based backend system by providing a robust command set. Always make sure your work is based on the latest commit! pdfcpu is still Alpha - bugfixes are committed on the fly and will be mentioned in the next release notes. -

Client/server side PDF printing in pure JavaScript
Print PDFs directly in the browser or delegate it to your NodeJS backend. Use the same document definition in both cases. Forget about manual x, y calculations. Declare document structure and let pdfmake do the rest. Use paragraphs, columns, lists, tables, canvas, etc. Declare your own styles, use custom fonts, build a DSL and extend the framework. Provides a set of options to disable font layout cache and to control when pages are flushed to the output file. Pdfmake is runnable in browser (client-side) and in Node.js (server-side). PDF name can be defined only by using metadata title property. Add-ons used in browsers can affect the functionality of pdfmake (especially for open() and print()). If pdfmake is not working try disable add-ons in browser. The supported browsers are Internet Explorer 10+, Edge 12+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. -

A DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, SVG and MathML. It's also very simple to use and get started with. DOMPurify was started in February 2014 and, meanwhile, has reached version 2.3.0. DOMPurify is written in JavaScript and works in all modern browsers (Safari (10+), Opera (15+), Internet Explorer (10+), Edge, Firefox and Chrome - as well as almost anything else using Blink or WebKit). It doesn't break on MSIE6 or other legacy browsers. It either uses a fall-back or simply does nothing. Our automated tests cover 17 different browsers right now, more to come. We also cover Node.js v14.15.1, v15.4.0, running DOMPurify on jsdom. Older Node.js versions are known to work as well. DOMPurify is written by security people who have vast background in web attacks and XSS. -

This means that they are as close to public domain as we can get. These books are formatted for printing directly from your browser, where you can also (on most browsers) save them as PDF. In Ray Tracing in One Weekend, you will build a simple brute-force path tracer. Continuing with Ray Tracing: The Next Week, you will add textures, volumes (like fog), rectangles, instances, lights, and support for lots of objects using a bounding volume hierarchy (BVH).
