EnDiskEx is a command-line tool that bulk extracts instruments, sequences, songs, and banks from Ensoniq-formatted disk images (RAW, GKH, EDE, and EDA) for the EPS/ASR family of samplers. The extracted files are saved as EFE / SMF / TXT files. EnDiskEx is designed to extract Ensoniq banks for re-creation within a different DAW. It will track down the instrument and song files from bank references even if they were saved on another disk. There also exists a disk mapping feature to correct for any errors in this process caused by having relabeled disks, forgotten to label disks, etc. EnDiskEx has been tested and validated against a variety of RAW, GKH, EDE, and EDA images files the dev team has, including but not limited to, the ASR factory disks, the EPS 16+ factory disks, and the EPS (classic) factory disks.

Scale & Chord Generator gives a visual display of chords and scales in any key on a musical staff, keyboard, guitar fretboard and bass guitar fretboard. Each note of the chosen chord or scale is displayed along with a related chord or scale to be played

You can hide the singer's voice from the music files that cannot hide the voice in the computer. By default, it will be saved with 2 audio tracks of singer + melody. If you want to save only the melody without the singer's voice, you have to select the No Vocal option. To save the output file, click Save Folder and choose the location you want to save (Default: Desktop). If you are sure of the above preparations, you can change the file you want to change by holding down the mouse and dragging it onto the Drag & Drop Input File. (No internet needed) You can also change it by clicking Select File.

Footswitch 2 (Basic) is a media player for transcribers on Linux. This version is a stripped down version of Footswitch2, containing only the absolute essentials for transcription. Written in python and using the python bindings for VLC it allows a transcriber to control the audio or video with a footpedal, and includes a set of macros that integrate into LibreOffice. This allows the transcriber to control the media player from within Libreoffice as well, making it useful for those who do not yet own a foot pedal. Control of the media player from LibreOffice can be via Hotkeys or an integrated toolbar. As fs2 Basic uses LibreOffice for the transcription input, it means you are working in a world class editor, which can produce output files in most popular formats including MS Word files. If moving from Footswitch2 to Footswitch2 Basic, any existing database files will be converted for you.
