is com0com still maintained?

I’d like to help create a transparent GitHub-based build/release workflow with CI, documented artifacts, and checksums, so users don’t have to just trust random executables.

Would you be open to this or a maintained fork?

Best regards

D:\Downloads\hub4com>hub4com --route=all:all --baud=115200 //./COM16 //./C1 //./C2

Seeing your ouptut, maybe the baudrate flag may have to be repeated just before every port specified, as in:

The two devices use COM10 port because in device manager I only got one "USB serial device" available and is set to COM10.
So, the devices are a Turing Smart Screen and an UPS from Salicru. Each one of the devices have a specific software to manage them.
Because the devices are detected with the same COM port, I can only use one software at a time.
So, the thing I need to know is if with hub4com and com0com it's possible to split or share the same port with the two devices and the two softwares. I can't change the com port used in any of the softwares, at least to my knoledge.
Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to help.

Can't get com0com working on Windows 10 (Win 10, Win10)

Windows Update solved the issue for me on both Windows 10 and 11.

Is Com0com used only for software defined radios?

If not,

Windows 10

Hi,

This error is typical when the driver is not signed and Windows does not allow its installation.
Make sure to use the signed driver, which you can find on SourceForge. Have a look at the screeshot.

To check whether the driver you're using is signed, right-click the .sys file, go to Properties, and under the Digital Signatures tab, check that there is an entry under Embedded Signatures.

In some versions of Windows, the Digital Signatures tab doesn't appear at all — which means the driver is not signed.

If I may give you a suggestion try using SerialTool (www.serialtool.com). It's up to date, supports creating Virtual COM Ports, and includes many other features. If you work with serial ports, it's currently the most complete and well-designed software out there.

virtual port not listed in Win11

This is a good point... anybody suceeded with it?
