Not responding and crashes after exit command in cmd.exe

When I run exit command in one of cmd.exe tabs, Console stops responding and crashes. Does not crash when running exit command in PowerShell or tab is closed using "X" button.

Console version: 2.00.148 (PortableApps.com)
OS version: Windows 11 Pro 23H2

Request: Option to copy icons from executables

Some shells embed their icon directly in the main executable. Could Console 2 get an option to copy these embedded icons and display them in terminal tabs?

Stop process explorer.exe and wait system for restore it.
All icons are restored in system tray, but not Console2's icon

Ok so for anyone who wants to have a powerline like prompt I suggest using zsh with oh-my-zsh theme agnoster, this theme seems to use 16 colors instead of the 256 that console would need to display it correctly. That plus you would obviously need a patched font for powerline in order to make it work. Anyways, I hope this is useful for people searching to use a powerline like prompt on console.

Hi,

Console passes mouse clicks to the Windows console. This allows mouse support in cmdline apps (e.g. vim). Obviously, timeout is reacts to that.

I've stopped supporting Console a few years ago mainly due to the lack of time, so I won't be looking into this anytime soone.

Hi,

It's most likely due to Console not having 256 color support. I've stopped maintaining Console years ago, mainly due to lack of time, so I don't think I'll be adding that feature.

Hello developers,

Apparently when I install powerline for my bash shell it won't display correctly in console2.
I've tried opening a cygwin terminal and there it does display correctly.

I really hope you can fix this issue. I would love to be able to use powerline as my prompt.
