However as far as i can tell the phone (K750) does not
have any intermediate levels between the five or so
levels. An exact percent number can inaccurately
estimate that the phone has plenty of battery left,
identical to the one in the phone user interface would
be a lot more accurate and intuitive.

possible, so I have a few "requests" regarding this.

The selecting of contacts already improved a lot since
the early version I was using before, but still major
glitches are present. The ideal UI would react this way:

The first contact in the list would automaticly be
selected. The text after the cursor should be selected,
so it is overwritten by any text further typed. With arrow
up and down, the next or previous contact should be
selected. When return is pressed, the currently selected
contact should be added to the recipients list. When
return is pressed twice, the Selects contacts window
should close.

Also all options selected should be remembered, like
Request Reply, Long SMS, and maybe even the Flash
option (however I don't know if this is very usefull) Also
in the Select recipients the "But only Mobile phone
numbers" option should be remembered.
Also the possibility to create a list of mobile phone
prefixes should be given, so mobile phone numbers can be
recognized even if they are not set as a contact's mobile
phone (I have more than 1 contact with 2 mobile phones,
one for personal use and one for professional use. Also in
the select recipients dialog, next to the textbox where
you type in the name, a label with the phone number of
the currently selected contact would be nice (together
with which number - home, work, cell, fax, other, ... - is
currently selected) - so it would have i.e. the text
"Home: +32477453299".

Also in the same Select Recipients dialog, the tab-order
should be reorganized a bit, now it is a real illogical mess.
.. Just try pressing tab a few times and you'll see what I
mean :)

Some kind of SMS templating would be nice too -
however not very necessary since typing on a keyboard
already is a lot faster than on a GSM :)

Welcome Screen

How about the option of a welcome screen instead of
