https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1123614&forum_id=185763

Description:

As of version 2.2, it is not possible to specify a different
check-intervall for tests/checks within a client/HID.
Therefore it is not possible to check "PING" every 30seconds but
perform a "MD5" check only every 3600 seconds.

Because the check "MD5" might take some time and resources, it
would be not recommended to use a 30sec intervall, where on
the other hand a check "PING" with an intervall of 30sec would
make sense.
This applies also to other check types like external, snmp etc.

Feature Request:

Allow different check-intervalls for specific checks using the same
HID/Tester.

additional graphs for connection checks

feature request to do responsetime checks on connection
efficency when monitoring system and app files:
example: md5 only executables and dll's in windows
win32: c:/windows/*.exe || *.dll || *.vbs
win32: c:/program files/*.exe||*.dll

in addition, for linux it would be great to look for the
filepermission since these define wether a file can be executed:
/usr/ago+x
/bin/ag+rw

using the defined check? I see the use default in the
server config but that might take a while if I have to do
this manually to say 20+ servers.
PROC>
<TYPE>PRESENT</TYPE>

<PROC>
<TYPE>PRESENT</TYPE>

</PROC>

</PROC>

However this works only on NT because in windows
2000 they are the same names but in lower case, Is
there a way to make these tests not case depenant?

POSIX compliant df output

I'm not certain how portable this is, but using df -P
on Linux (GNU df) fixes a minor problem with df output.

If I use the normal df output and try to run a disk
check on an NFS mounted directory with a long name, the
outpu is split on to two lines. What happens then is
MIDAS interprets the total size of the file system as
the "device" instead of the NFS mount. This also causes
problems with the free space calculation since the used
space now becomes the total space, etc.
