I'd like to know if it's already possible to force the slim_player to display the cover and the info button.
If it's not, I'd like to see a complete list of usable parameters, plus I'd like to request the force-cover-art feature!

ReplayGain support

Hi!
I'm using this player to play random songs from my collection. But there is one thing I am missing: ReplayGain support. All my files have this tag.
At the moment every file plays at different volume, which is annoying :-/

Add height and width param

Hey.
I am a web OpenLaszlo developer. With this language the way to include *.swf in web page is different than html and this player don't get correctly height and width param I think the better and faster fix is to add in the music player height and width param.

Google analytics integration

Google analytics doesn't provide an XML API to submit hits, otherwise I will developp PHP URL instead of putting MP3 URL in the XSPF.
So the consequence is that each MP3 play thru the player is not recorded in stats.
This can be disappointing if the MP3 author is the creator of the website (this is my case).

So perhaps it is possible to make javascript calls to Google Analytics each time a MP3 is played.
A new parameter would be necessary to get the Google ID.

Obviously, Google Analytics is not the only one stat system so the javascript code can be different. Perhaps the javascript code to be used could be provided by an URL and execute by the player.
I'm not a Flash developper so I don't know what is possible to do.

What about Netscape and Mozilla

I try to run the player with Netscape 7.1 or Mozilla and it doesn't run properly...
Is something specific to do ???

I'd like to see an extra XSPF param which allows specification of length of pause (silence) between tracks during playback.

I posted this in the developer forum before seeing this one. Sorry. I am helping a friend with her website and she is trying to prevent the download of her flv video files. This mp3 player seems to do that by 'hiding' the links in a flash file. It would seem not to be a great leap to change the player to do video. Would that be reinventing the wheel? Is that something that is easy to do if you knew Flash? Do you think this modification makes sense? Thanks for reading this.

Dynamic Playlist - reload list after each track

I'm looking to set up the player for use with a playlist that can be changed on the fly, for use on my Wii browser. The slim player would sit on the page and I would have an area on the page to browse through my music collection and another area to add/remove tracks from the playlist using javascript. As the playlist is changed, the XML playlist is updated using ajax. The player would reload the same playlist file when a song ends, or when the back/forward buttons are pressed, updating with the most recent changes.

accept extensions other than xsfp for playlists

it seems that the player supports only .xsfp as extension.
would be nice to have other extensions (eg .php) as well and decide be content if it is a valid playlist. this would help to generate playlists dynamically on the server.

make playlist_url mandatory

i think none needs the default playlist used when the playlist_url parameter is missing. it may only lead to unexpected behaviour ...
an error indicating the playlist_url is missing would help better.
