Hi All, I moved to asbru-cm.net, and after migrate my connections it worked like a charm. No -q option anymore in Spawned ssh from Expect. I just needed to adjust the Prompt expression, where connection is working as expected. Thanks a lot for the support.

Hi Nico, I installed Asbru and migrate connections. With some minor tuning in xfreerdp parameters it worked like a charm, thanks a lot for the tip! I recommend all to move to Asbru, since apparently PAC is not upgraded anymore.

I have no clue how to better describe this issue. But on PAC preferences we can define the Terminal binary to be used, which natively is xterm. This make sense since normally this will be available on all systems. But some odd condition I cannot be sure why happens. I am on a Linux Mint 18 where natively mate-terminal is used. When trying to create a RDP connection isung xfreerdp it fails with message: No 'xfreerdp' binary found. To use this option, please, install: 'freerdp-x11' Although rdesktop can be installed on my system it does not work as expected. On command line I can call xfreerdp and make it work properly, but I cannot use it on PAC. xfreerdp binary is installed properly and functional. Any recommendation to verify this issue?

Neither of these solutions got pac-vs working for me under Ubuntu 20.04.02 LTS, so I installed the forked version of Pac Manager, asbru-cm which worked without any further issues.

Hello all I just install PAC 4.5.5.8 and it work fine. My pac-vs default private key localtion is my home directory, which is normal. There was an update for some perl libraries, and after that my pac can't connect to any ssh server. My perl version is now 5.26. So 3 days ago, I had no experience with Perl whatsoever. However, after some thorough reading, I was able to fix the above error (by including the ../lib/ex/ directory), but unfortunately the ./pac_from_mcm script was written several years back (when PAC was at version 2.2 or something like that). I have therefore changed the script a little bit so that it would work with the newest PAC release (4.5.5). I will also attach the rubt script that generates a compatible CSV file from an mRemote exported confCons.xml I do not know if this is acceptable here as some may consider this an exploit (because of decrypting the passwords in mRemote), but I will attach the script anyway and will leave it up to the board moderators to decide on deleting it or not. For Ubuntu 18.04 you can install the deb for vte from here: libgnome2-vte-perl Another solution is to add asbru-cm repository and install package from it: curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/asbru-cm/asbru-cm/script.deb.sh | sudo bash sudo apt install libgnome2-vte-perl

Install it as a snap app much easier you need to be running snapd which is default in 18.04. sudo snap install pac-vs
