I see there is commits in 2019, is sodipodi still maintained? Would like to try to build one as lightweight inkscape alternative for low-spec PC (now that inkscape drop older windows support). But there is no source contain gtkmain has it turned to library only project?

WinXP, SP2, all patched.
I downloaded Sodipodi, GIMP, and GTK. I thought
Sodipodi was installed, since it appears in the Start
| All Programs menu. I got past the two .dll
problems. Now, when I click on Sodipodi in the Start
menu, it appears that an installer is running. I'm
getting the msg that SodiSetup.msi is on a network
resource that is unavailable. I don't find a oopy
that file locally or when I google the web.

New fonts in Sodipodi ...

Hi !
I'm using sodipodi 0,34 on a mandriva discovery 2006
system. A few days ago, I have added some new cool
fonts in Linux, they work in OpenOffice, but they just
don't appear in the sodipodi fonts list :( How could I
fix that problem ?

Missinf Dll file for Windows ME Version

When I run sodipodi .33 or .34 the program tells me it
cannot find zlib-1.dll and quits. When I checked the
sodopodi directory on my drive I found zlib.dll but not
zlib-1.dll. I am running windows ME. I downloded the ME
versions.

How to join two lines?

I cannot join two lines. There is a button to join two
nodes, but if I select a node in a segment, the other
node in the other segment is deselected...

What am I doing wrong? Is there a help file?

I have installed the sodipodi-0.34 rpm-package for suse8.2. I'm
using suse 8.2 professionell, gtk 1.2.10, kde3.0
sodipodi works, but if I try to work with text, the program breaks
and close all with internal error. Every text action give me the
same error. Try make text settings, or collect a text to the
drawing it doesn't matter.
