I am trying to use SFK to process a CSV file. In the file, I only want columns 1 and 15 in the output. I also want to ignore the first 10 lines, any empty lines, and any lines beginning with the string "Ignore". Could it be possible to force utf8 loading bypassing conversion error inserting a specific char instead (•) or whatever. I have some utf-8 file with few Japanese letters but a lot of accentuated french char. If i load the file i see ugly combination each time multi-byte sequence is met event if it can be rendered in windows-1252 cp. As the subject says, a file "sfk-winxp.exe" seems to be missed in the sfk 2.0.0.3 release. I still prefer this 32-bit version to be sure it will run on old 32-bit machines.

this command reads text from the clipboard in Ansi encoding. when using just sfk fromclip the text is printed without any OEM conversion, displaying accents or umlauts wrong. it is done so as people may also use "sfk fromclip >out.txt" in which case it should not be converted, but sfk cannot detect if the output is redirected to file. use "sfk fromclip +toterm" if you want accent characters printed correctly to terminal. i will extend the help text accordingly.

When using "sfk fromclip" it reads the clipboard but the swedish characters "å,ä,ö,Å,Ä,Ö" does not shows correctly. I.e. "Hellre en skrynklig själ än ett slätstruket liv" will be shown as "Hellre en skrynklig sjõl õn ett slõtstruket liv". Do you know how to fix this ?

confirmed, the ChangeLog will be fixed in the next release. for now you have to use the changes.txt instead, or you can download the updated .tar.gz from stahlworks.com/dev/sfk/sfk-2.0.0.tar.gz
