As far as I can tell, though, the driver only supports operation at 25G, and I need 10G to work for this project. It looks like I will probably need to source a different NIC. Thanks anyway.

#107 Include qlnxe driver in XigmaNAS

could you please check if the qlnxr driver supports your nic?

Include qlnxe driver in XigmaNAS

I would like to use XigmaNAS on a system with a Qlogic QL41262 10/25GB NIC. It appears that this device should be supported using FreeBSD's qlnxe driver, which is not currently included in the kernel build configuration for XigmaNAS. Would it be possible to include this driver in a future release?
lines in the exports file need to start with "V4:" if it is to be a version 4 export.

I attempted to force a v4 export by having the "V4:" in the path field.
With mapping options mapall and maproot, i got errors
mountd: bad exports list line 'V4: /srv/test01/export1 -maproot'
It is useful to create ZFS pools with their storage members formatted with GPT labels. It helps when those storage devices are enumerated differently due to hardware changes. Testing with version 13.3.1 of XN I found it impossible to do via the GUI.
We can format the disks with a GPT scheme and a label. This works correctly.
When then creating the vdev, selecting the GPT formatted disks, we are presented without options to use those labels despite existing. Instead the vdev is created with the usual /dev/daXpY identifiers.
I think that it is possible some "regression". I have a machine where this seems to have been possible in ver 11.3.1 but with yesterday rebuilding another machine with the version 13.3.1 of XN it was impossible for me. I tried every possible UI permutation of the formatting options and all gave the same result when creating the vdevs and the pools.
I had to resort to a shell to issue a #zpool create {name} raidz1 gpt/diskA gpt/diskB...
I did also try setting in rc.conf zfs_preferredsearchprovider = gpt but it did not make the change.

VirtualBox

I would like to use a more current VirtualBox, especially as 6.x is no longer supported (support ended 2024/01).
there is no ZFS snapshot lifetime value below 1 week. Maybe you can add "3 days", "5 days" to the selet field or better replace the select field by a numeric input field to enter the number of days manually.
Thank you.
