sudosh is a sudo shell, filter and can be used as a login shell. Sudosh records all keystrokes and output and can play back the session as just like a VCR.

VOCP is a complete messaging solution for voice modems, with voicemail, fax, email pager, DTMF command shell and Text-to-Speech support, 3 GUIs and a web interface. Send and receive faxes and voicemail, listen to emails and execute programs on the host.

cdu (for Color du) is a perl script which call du and display a pretty histogram with optional colors which allow to imediatly see the directories which take disk space. With no arguments, cdu reports the disk space for all subdirectories of the current directory. With only one directory argument, cdu reports the disk space for all subdirectories of the given directory. You can also call du with no predefined options. Mail2sh is a tool for send shell command by email with a simple module and to avoid you to know how procmail and sendmail works. Mail2sh makes it possible to carry out shell commands by email. Email is sent to a particular user on your host and the commands will be carried out if the user and password given matches ones in /etc/passwd. Commands are executed with the user's privileges, and combined with a PGP module ensures a certain level of security for use. Note that the system is not natively encrypted, so use of an encryption mechanism is highly recommended for security reasons.

ProxyTerm (pterm) is a simple tool to control console applications running on a remote machine. Unlike in telnet/ssh, applications are not terminated if the connection is shut down, but are kept running for subsequent connections from pterm clients.

Accepts a regular expression as an argument and any matches found (stdin) will be highlighted (stdout) using shell color escape sequences. Good for looking through logs/monitoring console output/etc.
