binary releases of VS Code without MS branding/telemetry/licensing
Microsoft’s vscode source code is open source (MIT-licensed), but the product available for download (Visual Studio Code) is licensed under this not-FLOSS license and contains telemetry/tracking. The VSCodium project exists so that you don’t have to download+build from source. This project includes special build scripts that clone Microsoft’s vscode repo, run the build commands, and upload the resulting binaries for you to GitHub releases. These binaries are licensed under the MIT license. Telemetry is disabled. If you want to build from source yourself, head over to Microsoft’s vscode repo and follow their instructions. VSCodium exists to make it easier to get the latest version of MIT-licensed VSCode. Please note that some Visual Studio Code extensions have licenses that restrict their use to the official Visual Studio Code builds and therefore do not work with VSCodium. -

This library supports both YAML 1.1 and YAML 1.2 and all common data schemas, passes all of the yaml-test-suite tests. It can accept any string as input without throwing, parsing as much YAML out of it as it can, and supports parsing, modifying, and writing YAML comments and blank lines. The library is released under the ISC open source license, and the code is available on GitHub. It has no external dependencies and runs on Node.js as well as modern browsers. For the purposes of versioning, any changes that break any of the endpoints or APIs documented here will be considered semver-major breaking changes. Undocumented library internals may change between minor versions, and previous APIs may be deprecated (but not removed). The minimum supported TypeScript version of the included typings is 3.9; for use in earlier versions you may need to set skipLibCheck: true in your config. -

That means you can completely customize the editing experience, to build complex editors like Medium's or Dropbox's, without having to fight against the library's assumptions. Slate's core logic assumes very little about the schema of the data you'll be editing, which means that there are no assumptions baked into the library that'll trip you up when you need to go beyond the most basic use cases. The document model used for Slate is a nested, recursive tree, just like the DOM itself. This means that creating complex components like tables or nested block quotes are possible for advanced use cases. But it's also easy to keep it simple by only using a single level of hierarchy. -

Notable provides a very powerful Markdown editor, it's the same one VS Code uses in fact, so features like multi-cursors, a minimap and best-in-class syntax highlighting are built-in. Notes and attachments are simply stored on your disk, this is extremely portable and powerful: you could edit your notes via a third-party editor on mobile, have them synchronized via Dropbox, use Git, run a regex-based search and replace etc. A dark theme is also available. In the future support for custom themes will be added as well. Zen mode provides a minimalistic editing and reading experience, hiding everything that's not necessary. Notable is also keyboard friendly, has a quick open window, and we'll soon add a command palette too, so you won't have to click any buttons if you don't want to. -

The path argument is used to define parameters and populate keys. The RegExp returned by path-to-regexp is intended for ordered data (e.g. pathnames, hostnames). It can not handle arbitrarily ordered data (e.g. query strings, URL fragments, JSON, etc). When using paths that contain query strings, you need to escape the question mark (?) to ensure it does not flag the parameter as optional. Backslashes need to be escaped with another backslash in JavaScript strings. It is possible to write an unnamed parameter that only consists of a regexp. It works the same the named parameter, except it will be numerically indexed. When dealing with query strings, escape the question mark (?) so it doesn't mark the parameter as optional. Handling unordered data is outside the scope of this library. Parameters can be suffixed with an asterisk (*) to denote a zero or more parameter matches. -

ngx-quill is an angular (>=2) module for the Quill Rich Text Editor containing all components you need. It is possible to set custom default modules and Quill config options with the import of the QuillModule.forRoot(). Use <quill-editor></quill-editor> in your templates to add a default quill editor. Do not forget to include quill + theme CSS in your build process, module or index.html! For builds with angular-cli >=6 only add quilljs to your scripts or scripts section of angular.json, if you need it as a global. In most cases, a WYSIWYG editor is used in the back office to store the content to the database. On the other side, this value should be used, to show the content to the end user. In general, QuillJS recommends using a QuillJS instance to present your content. Just create a quill editor without a toolbar and in read-only mode. With some simple CSS lines you can remove the default border around the content. -
