  • The BEST software out there.

  • but gui needs a design refresh.
  • I wouldn't pack with anything else.

  • Great tool and getting better!
  • Best application of used for encoding video. Nothing I've used comes close.
  • Nice converter. Thanks for sharing.
  • StaxRip does not lurk for existing components but installs duplicates of any related package, including avisynth and VirtualDubMod :(( 2011 turned out to be the year of a clear decision towards a free video standard. The website of Staxrip does not mention any of those crucial events, it is unchanged since 2010. The software does not contain the important keyword VP8, although it uses VP8 under "webm" as coDec name. In fact, it did misbehave in my case and even converted audio into 48kHz that was meant to be remuxed only. I ended up once more having spent a couple of hours just to convert a video. Staxrip helped promoting the common solution of just uploading anything to youTube and basta.
  • This is far the best video encoder frontend I ever used. Stable, easy to use and all-in-one. Would be nice to have automatic episodes ripping also.
  • Great encoder GUI with lots of functions and easy to use, a competitor of MeGUI. Like the GUI a lot, would be nice if x264 64bit support is added to it.
  • Very useful join of different tools for video encoding.
  • It is simply the best, most transparent GUI for a interactive collection of high quality video encoding you can get. No other tool, even those you have to pay for, produces that perfect output. Keep on! Your fan community is growing and growing... Nevertheless something from the wishlist: a bit more options for audio gaining in the GUI and easier DVD or perhaps even BlueRay implementations (when unprotected)....grabbing the main movie directly from source?
  • It's a wonderful encoder for videos. Try it and never leave it. It's the best!!!
