Difficult to use "text editor" but allows with effort ;) Best Quality Typesetting including unix TeX system support (tetex latex et al), Good International Support (i hear - though i do not do that), and plugins to certain friend like XMaxima. I give 5* for sourced major app on linux, -1* for complicated TeXisms, -1* for compiling woes, +1* for getting compiled w/typical "RH gcc messed up c++" changes. NARKIVE: 1.07+ has been taken over by ubuntu and requires KDE Qt ubuntu upfront (aka u must upgrade and use bin, src pkg usu. fail ubu). (TM was considered ?large? but is Not Large compared to gedit which is actually source 2x the size - which if you count depends of from gtk1.2+ lib app to "gedit works" (w/o gnome installed) is like 20x the size you must install parts of gnome to use "gedit" not just gtk+-2 or what)
